UT Martin Parsons Center 10th Anniversary

The University of Tennessee at Martin Parsons Center will celebrate its 10-year anniversary Jan. 17 with special guest speakers and a visit from the university’s new chancellor, Dr. Keith Carver.

A special event will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Jan. 17, at the center. Local supporters Jim and Janet Ayers, co-founders of The Ayers Foundation and major donors to the center’s West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation Nursing Wing, will be present as guest speakers alongside Carver.

The UT Martin Parsons Center continues to see record-breaking enrollment in the 2016-17 academic year. The center offers courses toward degrees in nursing, education, criminal justice, social work, psychology, interdisciplinary studies, history and business close to home in the Decatur County area.

The event is open to the public, and alumni, community members, students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
