The 2015 Relay for Life has been set for May 16 at the Decatur County Fairgrounds. This year’s Relay will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. We would like to collect canned food to place in the bottom of the luminary bags and after the Relay, food will be given to the Shepherds Fund food pantry. The canned food can be dropped off at FirstBank, Parsons First Baptist Church, or Decatur County Health Care and Rehabilitation. Also, the survivor dinner sponsored by Parsons Mortuary will be Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 at the fairgrounds building and canned food items may be brought that night, but is not a requirement.
